Jacobs-Mora in Vegas, September 9th

I don't get it. Meadowlands Arena (IZOD Center) in Ruthefurd, NJ is only 30 minutes away from MSG and 60 minutes away from the Barclay Center. No insurance issues, lower taxes, yet no big fights???

Yeah, that makes zero cents. I've also wondered why certain cities never have big fights (Chicago being my biggest gripe, seeing as it's the 3rd biggest city in America and I live here lol)

IZOD Center's an indoor arena where the Nets used to play. Little bigger than Barclay Center actually. I think big boxing events could do well there for now if there's not going to be any boxing shows in NY. Jacobs/Mora might've been better off there than at the Cosmo in Vegas. Throw some Polish guys on the card like Sulecki, Szpilka, Glowaki, Wlodarczyk & Fonfara and you're all set.

I agree with the rest of what you said though. With ny dead, jersey will be the logical choice, for whatever reason promoters don't seem to care for Philly.

Ironically, I recently pondered about the amount of NY cards in the past few years; it felt like NY was getting spoiled. Now it seems that the resurgence will be coming to an end.

I'm pretty sure we all knew Jacobs would fight Mora again. They need to setup a tournament when Golovkin eventually leaves the division. I'm tired of watching guys like Lemieux and Stevens get snubbed by Jacobs, Quillin, Saunders.
