GGG is larger because he is a lean 160 lbs middleweight. On the other hand, Brooks is muscular, which makes him appear much larger than Golovkin. However, if one were to ever strip away Kell's muscle mass, then he will appear much smaller than Gennady; Perhaps even closer to the Super lightweight lbs division as compared to GGG.

I don't like the fight, although it should be make for interesting TV. Gennady and Kell are both in my top 3-5 favorite fighters, and I just don't see how this goes well for Brook. I mean why take this fight when he could have potentially unified welterweight? I really felt he was the best welterweight in the world. 154 is an incredibly boring division, but I can't see him going back down to welter after being this big for a fight.

Golovkin is bigger than Brook but the size and weight discrepancy is not going to be all that pronounced. An average-sized middleweight is fighting an average-sized junior middleweight.
