Yeah it makes you wonder if they would, especially when you have Angel Garcia saying stuff like :

“What I am trying to say is this; they are both elite fighters (Thurman vs. Porter) why would you fight each other when you can fight a fighter like Rod Salka”?

Manny is a tough fight for Garica no doubt, but he is older, smaller and a bigger name than Thurman. So I think the risk/reward is much more in Garcia's favor than against the Thurman/Porter winner.

lets just say, vargas is willing to take a small cut such as $3-4 mil for fighting pac, and garcia wants $6-8 mil. who can you blame if arum chooses vargas tho?? posters is making it seem like these other guys is asking for the same amount as what arum is paying his guys to fight pac but arum is just not picking them when its not true at all.

Garcia will always want more money because he'll sell more, he is the more established fighter and at this point he is seen to be the BETTER opponent. So yeah, he'll probably have to cough up more but he'll make more too. It'll make Bob Arum and Top Rank look better too.

It could be Pac's last fight, beating Garcia is a solid win for Pac. Bradley got between $4-6m at least didn't he? No one really wanted to see that fight and it bombed because of it. This fight will have traction from the hardcore Boxing fans, the PR's and it'll be easier to market and promote due to Danny Garcia's undefeated record and his dad, Angel Garcia.

That's one of the few fights I wouldn't mind seeing Pac come back for. It would be a damn shame if he fell off so much that he lost, though.

Does anyone seriously think Manny is going to fight anyone besides Vargas? How many times has Arum played with the fans?

Even if Manny fights a big name like Crawford/Broner/Garcia etc... he'll have a ****ty training camp in the Philippines and won't look dynamite in the ring.
