His conditioning (built like a slightly bigger Froch) & power are second to none, One similar characteristic to SK & GGG is the patience he shows... If they get in a good shot then, they briefly assess the situation before going in instead of just wailing away. People like to make out they are just crude sluggers moving in straight lines but they are far more 3D & subtle than most like to admit!

Gassiev & Gvodzyk are the goods too but I can't wait to se how AB's career pans out! I suspect he's going to walk through 175.. How about you?

... when I first watched Beterbiev (in the Cloud fight), Andre Ward immediately came up in my mind... and his "old school inside working", to be more precise...
... Ward has a real chance to beat Kovalev... but it's this dude Beterbiev whom I'd rather like to watch fighting Ward...

Its true what you are saying, but i think Beterbiev is a bit more skilled than what you are making out. His punch selection is great and he has a way of trapping opponents in his punch range by using his ounches to herd them to where he wants them to go. Hes not mindless slugger by any stretch.

Kov always strikes me as the kind of puncher who needs a bit room to get real power on his shots, whereas Beterbiev gets great leverage from close range. If he can get past kovs range without taking too much damage, he could cause Kov a lot of problems imo

I wondered the same thing about Ward if he could get inside whether he could smother Kovalev a bit, but not sure he will hace the strength up at LHW. He would have the skill though. Best inside fighter in the sport by my money.

Exactly how do you get away from that once the process is engaged ? 1st gif shows 10 consecutive heavy shots from the body to the head.... Even Kovalev would be scared looking at that .
