I like his footwork, combos and reflexes. I disliked that he gassed by the 5th and his lack of ring generalship. He's fighting a much taller man and doens't press when he has his opponent on the ropes. Staying outside against an opponent who's much bigger = incredibly ******.

He's got skills but still has a lot to learn.

at 154 lbs i think he can be great. not so much at 160. he beat derenvianchenko in a 5 rounder at wsb. and derenvianchenko is not that big of a MW i think.

Rubio, Lenieux, Zurdo Ramirez, they all couldn't Ko him and Brian did.

If he gets a chance to fight the best then he will be top10 at 154. If he can be top3 that's another thing.. we need to wait and see.

I won't go that far but yeah, fights with a high guard, tries landing shots up close. Nothing like Martinez.

That doesn't make him anything like Martinez. The style is completely different. It's a poor comparison.

What do you mean it doesn't sound like Martinez? Was Martinez not explosive, athletic, a beast from different angles and Argentinian? Are you saying Castano doesn't have those things or Martinez doesn't?

Martinez's style was based on sharp reflexes and sharp hands with his guard down low and a striking jab which rose up from the waist. Does this kid fight like that?

Stop making silly comparisons and saying words like athletic and explosive, like they mean anything without context. Christiano Ronaldo is athletic and explosive too but it doesn't make him Mike Tyson.

These 2 guys have as different a style as possible in the boxing ring.

So you haven't even watched footage of Castano? It looks to me like you're just looking for another argument. That's all you seem to do, can't think of any other reason as to why you behave like a Shutter Island patient.

I clearly said in the OP 'he's a very well-rounded fighter, with explosive hand speed, fast feet, a sharp jab and he's comfortable at all ranges', the context of everything is very clear unless you're ******ed, which you very well may be.
