GGG vs Canelo - Who ducked who?

Canelo literally said he'll fight Golovkin next at 160 and weight is not a problem. He said this in the post Khan fight press conference. You should edit that in ur thread.

"For me, there's no issue. I have a team, we're going to get together with my team. But I'll fight him at 160. There's no issue." - Canelo

Further, he gave up his belt to Golovkin rather than fighting him, doesn't get any more blatant than that. That's a fact and not up for debate. This isn't an opinion based question.

My take on it is .. If Canelo had not called GGG to the ring & said what he did & also said he will fight GGG at 160, fight him next blah blah, you can give the guy a pass..

He fought a MW for the title(though it was 155 is not Jr.MW), won the belt.. Defended for that belt at MW against a WW so technically he was a MW.. He also said he will fight him at full weight limit & not CW.. So Canelo ducked..

GGG was right in saying no to Canelo to fight at CW for a title.. So I don't see this as a duck..

Should they fight? - May be/may be not.. It is a really good opponent for GGG, but again so are few guys at 168..
Is this for money? - Absolutely..
Is this for legacy? - No, GGG's legacy fight is Ward.. Canelo vs GGG, is a tough fight but a win is pretty much expected for GGG...

You won't find many clearer instances of outright ducking than the Canelo incident. Having said that if he does fight Golovkin next year then his ducking will be quickly forgotten.

GGG clearly ducked CANELO & others.

CANELO before and after the Cotto fight said he'd fight GGG or anyone at 155. CANELO offered 155 & 156(Hopkins in HBO With Jim Lampley) & even said a weight they both feel comftorable at.

CANELO'S Trainer-" Yes we will fight GGG at 155 no problem, he's not the marvel people make him out to be."

GGG responded with 160 or no fight, not 159, 158, 157, 156, or 155.

GGG & Team GGG never wanted the CANELO fight , they played hardball they didn't budge from 160 on purpose , forcing CANELO to vacate, to avoid the purse bid, where CANELO would have to give 5 pounds + half the money & have only half a training camp(lawsuit case)while GGG had a full training camp with no distractions.

GGG tried to dictate terms to CANELO , Floyd, Ward , Lara etc. Let that sink in for a minute.

It's weird how people would believe GGG the guy who called out the best from 154-168 and never backed up the big talk , over proven top fighters with great resume's like Floyd ,CANELO , Ward , Lara etc.

Fast forward to today , GGG's career has been all lies & hipocracy, he's a fraud, check his age & resume. Just imagine the resume he could have built if he didn't act like this super A-Side & have excuses for these fighters who excepted his open challenge of 154-168 by putting their name & weight # on the list. Ward, Mora, Lara, CANELO, Hopkins, Degeale , Floyd, RAMIREZ. Even when Brook called him out at 155 GGG said he's too small, only to sign a fight with him at the full 160, now Brooks some how a big and strong guy according to GGG. Lol

Team GGG-"Were not after CANELO , we want him to vacate so we can defend the titles at middleweight , we want to do what's right".....only to get the belt and defend it against a 147 pounder right after.

Team GGG fear CANELO , they know they only have a punchers chance at the full 160 vs. CANELO , that's why till this day they haven't budged from 160.
If a WW Brook asked for a 155 & 157 CW but he has to go to the full 160, further proves my point.

I think by now its pretty obvious that canelo ducked.

Said " im ready" after the cotto fight then asked for another voluntary
After beating khan said he would fight GGG at 160 and that "we dont **** around".
Time comes to negotiate he vacates to avoid the fight once again
Then says he will fight him in september 2017 as damage control

Its blatanly obvious canelo just doesnt want to fight him and will avoid at all costs. Even if that means vacating like a true coward.

Golovkin clearly ducked Canelo.

Canelo is obviously not a genuine middleweight - which is why he is scheduled to fight Liam Smith for the WBO JMW title at 154 - so he demanded a catchweight of 155..... which should NOT have been a problem for the guy who ran around for FOUR YEARS saying this..... "anyone from 154-168"

Also, Tom Loeffler promised that " Golovkin would have no problem fighting at a catchweight against Alvarez ".

But unfortunately, when it came time to walk-the-walk, Team Bull**** totally refused to negotiate on the weight..... failing to live up their hype, yet again.

Only a very ****** person, would somehow blame Canelo because Team Bull**** wrote checks with their mouth that Golovkin is unwilling/unable to cash with his fists.

That would be about as ****** as all the silly ****s who blamed Mayweather because Pacquiao refused to undertake random blood tests.

And the thing is..... this is not the first time that has happened, so the common denominator is obvious...... Golovkin ran around for FOUR YEARS stating that he can beat "anyone from 154-168"..... then, he killed TWO HUGE fights over the weight LMAO

The only reason why a human being would somehow fail to hold a grown man responsible for FOUR YEARS of lies and broken promises, would be if that human being were either very young, or very ******.

Luckily, we don't have anyone like that around here.
