Ward is a smart a cool headed guy. I always admire the way he holds himself and have great respect for him. Intelligent both inside and outside of the ring ! He's not going to overlook Kovalev for even a second....That's how a great fighter's mind works.

That's what made me a fan. I tend to like underdogs and rarely root for the uber-talented guys but Ward's character is what made me admire the guy.

This is what I hate about boxing fans, a fighter can look phenomenal for most of his career and one fight where he doesn't destroy someone and they suddenly are overhyped bums.

Boxing needs to get rid of this mentality, ward is right, if ward wins they will say kov was overhyped.

Kov-ward is looking like a pretty awesome fight. This is a quality build up, quality fighters, good personalities, I'm excited for this.

I envy you! I've seen a lot of that noise on here and Youtube. Of course there's a good chance Kov could KO Ward. Few will dispute the possibility. But many are acting like Ward is somehow going to go out like Mohamedi or shot Pasqual. When I've said that "Kov has never fought anyone on Ward's level" I got people spamming my PM box with hate letters. lol

Yeah, people are absolute idiots. Kov can knock out Ward just as well as Ward can frustrate and outbox Kov. This is a 50-50 fight with many possible outcomes, but those two seemingly being the most likely of them.

I don't know why boxing fans are so fickle all the time. Let's just all sit back and observe the best fight in boxing. If you're cheering for someone, great! But that doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to be objective. And furthermore, it shouldn't mean that you should want a lopsided fight.

But that's just too much common sense for a lot of people.

I've said this for years now. There can be an excuse for literally any fight in the history of boxing. It's exhausting.
