My understanding is they will fight in September 2017, and I can't wait till than and watch Golovkin get ko'ed cold, he has never fought a b-class oppenent and yet he thinks he is the A side refusing to fight at 155 even after he only sold 97K in a unifaction fight against another power puncher with a really good under card, Canelo has already beat the likes of Cotto, Trout, and Lara can't say the same about Golovkin. Damn i bet Kirkland would be the biggest name on Golovkin's resume if they would fight

But yes...if GGG wants Canelo bad enough he can move down. But GGG moves for no fighter. Fihters move to fight him. If you want belts you fight the connected figters. If you want inmortality and greatness, all roads go through GGG

If he wasn't, Brook wouldn't be getting 3x what he was offered to unify, at a minimum. Eubank wouldn't be getting 4m+ or close. Traveling to the UK is not a negative, you don't make near as much at Mw in the States and that UK exposure is a good thing, helps if you wanna be a global star.

He chose to fight for the title and not give in on weight to get Canelo on the ring. So Canelo handed him the now "worthless" title. Which he will now defend against a much smaller opponent at the MW limit of 160. Why I'm not surprised?

Canelo will beat his ass whenever they fight. 3G aint getting any better he is 34. Canelo can still pass on the fight for Sep 2017, if 3G gets greedy on the terms.

The Brook fight only tells us that 3G is afraid to lose his 0 and the Canelo sweepstakes.

That's fair criticism from Sanchez. Too bad nobody wants to hear that kinda talk from him. It doesn't change that it's a mismatch. Despite understanding the unique circumstances which led to K2 settling on a WW, it won't change the result. Hopefully they get a better opponent next time...that's goes for Canelo too.
