Why on a Monday though? Is that the norm in Russia?

there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to russian scheduling. there was a great wednesday afternoon card last year for example

Gonna be great to see him in action again. He's training in Russia for this fight, 'homecoming style'.

It's weird. They might put this on on monday because Fury-Klitschko 2 and UFC 200 was already scheduled on July 9 and they couldn't put the fight on any other day.

Actually Monday works out well. We got Telemundo Friday, UniMas and Espn shows Saturday, HBO(Kovalev) Monday and Fox Sports1 on Tuesday.

He might last the distance. I think Kovalev is just too heavy handed though, he'll cut off the ring and steadily land good shots and get a late TKO.

Looking forward to seeing Kov in action again. He seems to take his craft seriously, going to be a tough fight for Ward in November.

Will Sergey Kovalev be the first to stop the crafty and elusive Isaac Chilemba?

Tough opponent, legit top 10 LHW, Ring has him as #7 where he belongs, his losses were very close and he got robbed at least once.

Was never stopped, very awkward style, hard to look good against.

Not many exciting fights in the next couple weeks, but this one is the most interesting.
