People that criticized Cinnamon, should be criticizing GGG also. The only excuse is that he wants all the belts, but the belts are worthless when 75% of them were handed to him outside the ring and has no value since it wasn't earned.

Honorable athlete.
He holds three belts.
Three of his past title wins were for vacant titles.
One was a title that doesn't exist anymore.
Two of his current titles were legit wins that I give him credit for - Lemieux and Rubio - both quality fighters that simply got beat down.
But the problem is, he will forever be linked to the fact that he didn't beat all of the middleweights he could have. Excuses aside.
If your priority is to prove you're the best, then accept whatever terms they want in exchange for a fight - fight those people say you can't beat (which is the way Calzaghe went), or at least fight those who beat the ones people say you can't beat (which is the way TBE went).
If your priority is just belts, that's fine. But then you have the asterisk.

The ironic thing about most of GGG's apologist. That defend every move he makes with belts, and quest for the belts. Is that lost of these same fans criticize damn near every move Floyd Mayweather made. If the belts are the tell all, end all, they should worship Floyd. Because pretty much every opponent he had, had some kinda belt implication.
Pacquiao: unification fight
First Maidana fight: unification fight
Canelo: reigning WBC/WBA 154 champ (feel free to criticize catchweight)
Guerrero: mandatory
Cotto: reigning WBA 154 champ
Ortiz: reigning WBC champ
Mosley: reigning WBA champ
DLH: reigning WBC 154 champ
Baldomir: reigning WBC champ
Judah: reigning IBF champ
Gatti: reigning WBC 140 champ
Castillo: reigning WBC 135 champ
Corrales:would have been unification had Chico not been unjustly stripped
Genaro Hernandez: reigning WBC 130 champ
And there's no telling how many mandatories Floyd made as 130 champ. Even thr Bruseles and Chop Chop fights at 140 were elimnators to become Gatti's mandatory. Much like the Rubio fight was for GGG.
So I ask. If belts are the tell all, end all when it comes to GGG and his career. How can you criticize Floyd when damn near all his fights were either unifications, fightinf reigning world champions, fighting eliminators to become a mandatory himself, or fighting mandatories to keep his title? Things that make you say hmmmmm.

He still has a few prime years left during which he can beat names (Jacobs, Saunders, Canelo, etc.), as long as they actually step in the ring with him. It takes two to tango and GGG never ducked an opponent in his career - and never will. He's the type of fighter that fights everybody; a rare breed these days.
That said, you when the boat when you say, "GGG fights everybody." Because he doesn't. When it comes to anything that's gonna take him outta his comfort zone, he's as selective as everyone else. We can go back and forth till the cows come home. But the fact is, when Ward came calling, Team GGG came with one excuse after another. GGG wasn't willing to fight Froch at 172. Which didn't look nearly as bad then as it does now. Considering he's willing to fight a guy making a 13lb jump, but didn't wanna make a 12lb jump himself. He won't fight Lara because of Haymon. But he fought Wade, who's represented by Haymon.
Like I said, what's going on with him in the middleweight division is pathetic. That said, him being a total hypocrite makes its hard for somebody like me, who's not a diehard fan of his, to feel any sympathy for the guy.

I have mad respect for Mayweather's skills, but above 140, his entertainment value for the money was painfully low.
Anyway, I don't care about Golovkin's belt quest. I just want him to be tested in solid fights. To be fair, potential opponents just haven't allowed their testicles to descend. Because until that happens, we're not going to see GGG's entire skill set.

As for him being tested. How is he gonna be tested if he's only willing to fight guys in his division, which is one of the weakest in boxing? And the only time he's willing to fight outside that weak division is guys moving up in weight? The most recent case being a two division jump.
