Why don't we have Jacobs vs Lara and the winner gets GGG?
Actually, Lara also called out the winner of the Jacobs/Quillin fight when he was promoting his Zaveck fight. Now he no longer mentions it. The media got no balls in calling him out for his BS.

Look, it should be apparent to even the most blind of fans that Golovkin's team doesn't want a Lara fight. As to the reason, that's fair game.

      Nice try.

PS: Redd, it's LARA not LAURA lol

neither haymon or his reps, or decubas, have ever reached out to loeffler. they talk a lot in the media, but they're big boys, and know who to call if they really want the fight.

i used to think lara was pricing himself out. turns out that for all of the talking that his manager does on twitter, they've not once reached out to loeffler. not once .

they're big boys. they can pick up the phone. but they don't.

They were already looking at other options at that point. Now what?
So if they wanted the fight, why didn't De Cubas, DiBella or Haymon contact K2, or speak up and say "If Canelo won't fight, Erislandy Lara will"?

And why didn't they, or Lara himself, speak up after GGG/Canelo was declared dead till at least 2017?

I actually have no problem with Lara or his manager talking about wanting to fight GGG, even though I know it's bull****. It gets them publicity, so I understand what's going on.

It's the idiots who pipe up with that "GGG ducked Lara again" crap every time Golovkin lines up a fight who annoy me.

Why didn't K2 contact them about making the fight? Why didn't they have him as an option?

Instead, we've got a fight with a welterweight. Absolutely pathetic for a 4 year old with no notable wins.

you have no fans apart from a couple of boxing hipsters, one of the most boring unengaging 'fighters' in the sport, you bring nothing to the table, a C level caveman in angulo was battering you, GGG would put you in a coma.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Bravo!
