Yeah, it looked like if Ruenrong quits and N'Dam fought a good fight with Carrillo, but still Carrillo was trying to put some La Cruz type performance, and La Cruz beat him at least twice.

N'Dam got embarrassed and shut out. So much for it being unfair to have pros in the Olympics.

I really don't know why fans who have been around the sport a long time expected anything other especially those that have competed.
The amateurs is almost a completely different sport. People who assume the olympics is full of inexperienced kids couldn't be anymore wrong.

The pro's train more for 12 rounds and developing and delivering power. The amateurs is the true sweet science all about movement, defense, angles, knocking up points over a short period.

Like I said before take Prizefighter for example because of the same format. The seasoned pros never do well in it, its pretty much always won by a guy fresh out of the amateurs because he is used to the short, rapid fire format.
A lot of these olympic level boxers would ****ing wreck a lot of these cats under pro rules too.

                    No.
N'Dam fought at 81 because he isn't able to do the same weight every day, he is fighting in his natural weigh just like any boxer in the tournament.
That's why Beterbiev was an amateur heavyweight, that's why Ward was an amateur LHW who turned pro at super middle.
