In other words, Golovkin needs to have an off night.

I said I don't think Kell can beat GGG, so it's pointless to then ask me "how's he going to beat him then?" Lol.

I've always rated Kell Brook highly. I was telling people he was going to be a world champ before he even won the British title.

He was the underdog before he fought Porter, especially with US fans, and I posted many times responding to comments saying he had no chance and was going to get KTFO. I stated why and how I thought he was going to beat Porter, and the fight turned out exactly the way I expected it to.

I don't know what to expect from Brook/GGG, because I've never seen what Kell looks like at 160. He's a big WW though, and according to Eddie Hearn, happy to be fighting at the full MW limit, without any CW.

In the past, big WWs like SRL and Hearns have moved up to MW and even LHW and had no problems adjusting. I believe Kell Brook can do the same, and that he will give Golovkin a tougher test than Eubank Jnr would have done, which was the point I wanted to make when I started this thread.

Kell is short for Ezekiel, btw, not Kelly.

I don't underestimate him, he's an excellent fighter.

However, a welterweight has no chance of keeping off a middleweight that walks down huge guys like Lemieux.

Eubank Jr was a far tougher fight; bigger, stronger middleweight with an iron chin and very good speed. Kell is better than Jr, but not at MW and not stylistically against Golovkin.

So many people underestimating Brook, the guy is a master boxer and has schooled everyone he has ever fought.

When was the last time Brook was hit clean in a fight to the head or body? Brook is slick as hell defensively and has great movement, he moves much quicker than Gennady.

Brook needs to ESTABLISH THAT JAB and keep using his 1-2s to tee off Golovkin as he comes in, bend his body and move when Golovkin throws body shots, move and turn Golovkin as they get to the ropes.

Brook's handspeed advantage will be key in this fight.

I respect Brook for taking this fight, but he will get absolutely brutally destroyed.

Brook's only shot is to survive 12 rounds and hope for a hometown gift decision.
I see him being very cautious and trying to stay on the outside. Eventually I see GGG walking him down and catching him with a big shot, most likely a body shot since Brook will be wary against getting sparked out like Khan.

                Who underestimates him?
Brook is my favorite fighter at 147...
... But going full 160 against GGG isn't even a bad joke -- it's rather a suicide move imo...

People who said Eubank/GGG, was a good match-up, but Brook/GGG is a joke are underestimating Kell Brook!

Let me put it this way - I think Brook will lose to Golovkin, but would beat Eubank Jnr at 160.

... as long as certain fights aren't likely to ever take place, I'm not interested in what a fighter "would" do to another fighter.

... and I hope that Brook finds a way to pull himself off this GGG fight.

I disagree with you on that. Jnr has talent, but lacks experience, and his chin has yet to be tested at world class level. BJS is a great boxer, but not a great puncher.

I think that Jnr's style and approach would be suicidal against a puncher like GGG. Even if his chin stood up to Golovkin's bombs, his open stance and habit of leaning to one side with his body at an angle to the opponent close up would leave him wide open to Golovkin's body punches. He may have an iron chin, but nobody has an iron liver!
