    WTF is this *****??

Why do we see 160lbs fighters like Golovkin and Canelo fight guys from lower weight classes like Cotto, Smith, Khan and Brook? It's pathetic. Now, in Golovkin's case, it's actually understandable. Nowadays, Brook is a lot more of a challenge than the old shot Cotto who lost to Trout is. And all of Golovkin's opponents have been trash so far, except for Murray, so Brook's qualities makes him one of Golovkin's best wins, despite the weight. But the thing is, why do things have to be like this? Is there no way to force other 160lbs boxers to fight Golovkin and is there no way to force Canelo into fighting any 160lbs boxers? Why can't Golovkin and Canelo just fight each other or fight Jacobs and Saunders, the only other two interesting opponents for them?

Well, we thought Golovkin being mandatory to Canelo would force the fight but that didn't work out well when Canelo dropped the belt so short answer - no, there is no real way to force anyone to fight anyone. Closest to it is a network not buying someones fights but for big stars like Canelo, that won't happen.

Canelo is like a baby who is getting special treatment all the time. I wish something could have consequences for him so we would never see anything like his fight against Khan or Cotto again.

lol. oh but Brook is understandable? Like HBO Executives didn't know about Brook months back. only dummies think HBO Sports Execs didn't know about Brook. Brook knew about this offer this opportunity for a while when he was approached during the Alvarez vs Khan "fiasco," however this time, he took the "deal" that was offered to Eubank Jr., which is not the SAME deal since Abel and Hearn are publicizing that they couldn't "negotiate."

Golovkin is a prospect star on HBO. There's no "save the date" with Golovkin or losing a date. There's also responsible scheduling and protocol from a network like HBO. Their advisers went the Alvarez vs Khan formula vs receiving more backlash from other "bums" as the industry is getting tired.

Did you notice how Lara did his usual thing of disappearing into the woodwork when GGG was actually in need of an opponent?

Well, look at the bright side. We can change the prediction.

Golovkin vs. Brook: Brook stopped before Round 11.

yeah but unfortunately Abel Sanchez nor Tom Loeffler ever state these cute theories. Instead they state he demands "ridiculous" amounts of money while still being a WBA Super 154 Champ, let alone rated #1...

I don't see any points in making a specific prediction for this fight. Round 2? 3? 4? Golovkin will destroy him and it will happen inside the first 5 rounds. Brook was struggling with Porter, he will crumble against Golovkin.

Direct your hatred to the guys that are PREVENTING good matchups at MW, that are ducking GGG and make him fight Brook.

Direct your hatred towards Saunders, Eubank, Canelo and Jacobs!

Also why not also hate Marvin Hagler then, when he did the same as GGG.

Everyone who hates on this is a casual fan and doesn't know shit about current boxing.

Well. As I said, it's understandable that Golovkin fights Brook.

Brook will be Golovkin's third best win, after Murray and Lemieux, which is actually quite sad, but at least it makes his top 3 wins look a bit better.
