The biggest Name on Golovkin's Resume

So many have bashed his resume for a long time now. Well, Brook may be a welterweight, but he is a name. He's 36-0 and a champion with a win over Porter when Porter was unbeaten. I think Brook is doing an imitation of Khan and I feel better about Khan's health after his step-up fight than Brook's after this fight.

It's not who I wanted Golovkin to fight either, but I guess Eubank didn't want it and Brook shows a tremendous amount of guts to do this. In the off chance that he wins(and they are fighting in London), his stock goes through the roof. If he loses, he's lost nothing, outside of possible brain damage of course. Ha. Either way, Golovkin will have Brook on his resume. I guess when actual middleweights agree to fight him, he can pick those up, too.

He's a welterweight. That's all that needs to be said.

Couldn't they have meet in the middle or a CW? I doubt anyone would be able to criticize the fight at 154lbs.

It is strange he's doing it right after Khan and Canelo. Is this a trend now? Although I did read recently that Brook was thinking of a move to 154.

Way worse than Canelo Khan. He's pulling a guy up two weight divisions. Khan was a big welterweight so 155 was not a big difference. Plus Khan is a much bigger name with a much better resume than Brook, who has one good win over a just above average Porter.
