hhmmm seems like hearn just wanted them to sign whatever it is he wanted. It seems that hearn got frustrated that eubank jr/sr said what they wanted and instead gave the fight to brook. Hearn is a piece of ****.
That's seriously what you took from that? According to Hearn, Eubanks wanted control of the undercard, the ticket prices, the advertisers, a better ppv split than either Anthony Joshua or Carl Froch got, and operational control of the GGG promotion side of the event (whatever that means). And you think Hearn is the bad guy here? Brook was offered the identical fight everyone had already agreed to and signed it within 24 hours. The Eubanks did not want this fight. They wanted their names in the press and then they would price themselves out, allowing them to ***** and moan all the while pretending it was not their fault.

Hearns is a promoter. He wants big fights. GGG - Eubank was a bigger fight than GGG - Brook. Arranging GGG-Brook is a desperate move on both sides. If Hearns could have made GGG-Eubank he never would have considered GGG-Brook.
im just using my common sense... mixing that with a comment about that eubanks turned their back on him before something like that... either way why would a promoter do that to his own guy. Makes ZERO common sense imo.

Didn't the Eubanks leave Hennessy on a sour note as well? And then in December, the Blackwell fight was nearly made then wasn't (I forget who was promoting Jr. back then).

Eubank was fooling us all into believing he was brave enough to fight Golovkin.

Props to Brook for his courage.

How exactly did you reach that conclusion?

Did Hearn purposely sabotage Eubank so that Kell Brook could get the shot instead, or did Eubank drag his feet too long and force Hearn to make a decision?

As far as I'm concerned It's only one of those two. Considering that Hearn said that Brook is getting the same deal as Eubank, it doesn't look good for Eubank...

You just know this snake is a pure liar, problem is dumb fans would believe him to justify why GGG sign to fight Brook.

                lol
At least I'll get my money's worth when Kell's out on the canvas. :hahaha:

As much of a joke this fight is,
I hope the desperate Golovkin hater squad doesnt try to use this as leverage for the "cherrypicker Golovkin no ones scared of him" campaign they got on, because this doesnt change the fact that Martinez, Saunders, Eubank, Cotto, Canelo, and Jacobs all ducked him.

Not the first time a promoter rips his fighter apart. Schafer did it when Garcia wanted $2 million for the Matthysse fight. Arum did it. Goosen, etc. It's a natural thing when a fighter gets too greedy.

Don't like the fight at all. GGG fan here. Too bad Eubanks didn't pan out.. But definitely a step in the wrong direction. I guess they wanted to get paid well with Brooks
