I haven't been shown one contract since my fight with GGG was announced. I'm still ready & waiting to sign. Fighting Brook is a joke #2Small

      ---------------

Eubank received zero contract to sign at any point, he's been publicly asking Hearn what is with the delay, this is what caused the delay.

Golovkin has chosen to fight a guy 2 full divisions below him, after bad mouthing the Canelo-Khan fight which was an 8lb difference as opposed to the full 13lbs.
      1) He got no contract because he wanted more money than what he had originally requested.
      2) Fight night weight is what matters. They don't punch themselves at the weigh in. Golovkin will be 170 and Brook I guess around 165. That's better than 163 (Khan) against 175 (Canelo) or something. They punch themselves at fight night weight. Really weird situation. The Eubanks wanted more money, things kept dragging along and suddenly insert Kell Brook who apparently was ready and able to go so that's that. Why it's weird is that Hearn represents both fighters so he obviously was working with K2 for some time. It must have become apparent at some point the Eubanks weren't going to get what they wanted, Kell Brook has been calling for a Golovkin fight since Khan-Canelo was announced, they talked details and made a deal. ****ing crazy

Yeah, doesn't sound like this is necessary. It doesn't sound like any of this was down to him.

I said on here yesterday the Eubanks have form now with not taking fights.

He was offered a Saunders rematch for the world title, and turned it down. He was mandatory for Jacobs and went backwards to fight for the British title. Now he's offered a title fight with GGG and didn't follow through with it in the end.

I don't care what Eubank says or his excuse, that's 3 times in a year he's had good opportunities to fight good fighters and it's not happened.

                  It's still a mismatch. It's still a middleweight vs a welterweight.

I understand it may be one of those situations where if Golovkin couldn't get Canelo, Saunders, Eubank, Jacobs then he's left without a dance partner and would have to fight some random bum but at the end of the day it's still a guy who fights at 147 vs a guy who fights at 160 so from Golovkin's perspective, it's not a good fight for him as far as "legacy" goes, its simply a fight to bring in money & name value in the UK. As for Brook, obviously it's a huge fight for him and if he wins or even goes the distance that would be massive for his career but the risk obviously is getting Khan'd.

Kell brook has big cojones. Eubanks has none. He spunked his chance up the wall and deserves nothing but contempt. He is as much of a clown as his old man. But at least his old man had balls.

I know it's not the best fight out there in terms of a fight. Leonard was also a WW and then moved up to MW. It's way better than Canelo vs Khan.

I'm happy for GGG because he finally gets a big fight in terms of name. That's it. I expect him to fight top MW's from now on. We can't blame him if the top MW's run from him.
