    K2 obviously had to be negotiating for Brook while in talks with Eubank. If Eubank bailed, k2 couldn't just work out something with Brook in 2 days.
    Yeah, them posting tweets about Eubank needing to find a pen is a red flag for me, now that this has been made so suddenly.

        Exactly. I'm a businessman and I can respect "shrewd", but this still seems pretty classless to make media call outs when you already know you're not fighting the dude. No matter what Maxi is going to say when he quotes me on this, decisions like this don't get made in the snap of a finger. They knew they were fighting Brook when they made the pen comment. That was just to keep up appearances.

            Still a win-win for GGG he calls out Jr publicly while he claims he signed the contract. So fight doesn't happen automatically Eubank jr gets the blame.
            Now he can beat up on Kell Brook for the same amount of money with less punishment.
            One thing is certain, GGG doesn't care about legacy if he's pulling a Canelo type of move.

                    Thanks for the green k people but I didn't make the thread for that. I'm just waiting for the Yank GGG fans to finish work and destroy me. I've been talking a good one so I accept anything that comes my way.

                    I still can't give GGG a pass for fighting a Welterweight though and nor should you.
