    So Flanagan is currently scheduled to fight a grandfather who hasn't won a meaningful fight since 2009 or 2010 but Warren is assuring that the next fight will be a legit one. Ok

        Only 1 of the 4 belt holders can be the best. The other 1/2/3 may not be a world champion, but they are not prospects either. Most likely they are contenders at worst because if there was only one belt they'd be in contention to challenge for it.

          I don't know about that. I think as soon as someone wins a world title they immediately get elevated to at least top ten. But sure, you get upsets where a previously low ranked fighter springs a major surprise.

          I think if the rankings were properly done you could be top 15 and be a contender and not a prospect. But the rankings are often horrible as often one org. wont rank another org's fighter. Just a mess. But don't see any of that applying to Flanaghan - my eyes say he is right up there at LW.
