If BJS vs. Lemieux and Luis Ortiz vs. Alexander Ustinov are on the Canelo vs. Liam Smith card, i'll buy the PPV! That's what a PPV event should look like!!! Props to GBP if they can make this happen!

Wake up, Saunders will not fight Lemieux, too dangerous, he will fight one of the guys he can easily beat. Like a Bursak or Langford who is also with Warren, would be the easiest to beat and to make.

There's a choice - get on a Canelo undercard and fight Lemieux and make great money or find another Bursak.
Looks to me like BJS is going the money route hoping for a Canelo next year as bothe Jacobs and K2 have confirmed there was no interest in a fight from BJS' side.
Of course GBP would love to have Lemieux prevail and then match him up with Canelo.
        All very tasty!

I dont think he fights pepe lepu, too risky before a canelo fight, more like tureano if bjs is smart...
By the way i think saunders could outbox lepu but it only takes one punch from lepu to kill the canelo fight for saunders...

BJS vs. Lemieux on Canelo undercard- winner vs. Canelo.

Then Golovkin. In the meantime- let's see GGG vs. Eubank/Jacobs/Quillin/Lee

            ...Please?

True, and you are probably right, it will be another gimme like Bursak. But GBP are doing the card and it would be smart for them to offer whatever (within reason) BJS wants to face Lem. No other title shot is realistic for him and not like he'd have much chance at 168 IMO.

Yeah there is hope they pay good money to save the Canelo PPV card from totally flopping. Might actually happen when they give BJ the option to fight Canelo if he wins against Lemieux, but why would Canelo then move down to 154 first?

I think if Canelo can make 154 and feels okayish, he will try to stay at that weight. Lemieux and Saunders are not moving down, they both said they cant and will not.

Lemieux vs Saunders is a 50/50 fight in my opinion.

Hopefully it's Lemieux, but I doubt it. BJS is cautious inside and outside of the ring and he is probably going to avoid Lemieux like the plague, especially with this being his first title defense.

If he doesn't choose Lemieux golden boy would probably offer him rosado

since when an undercard fight saved a ppv from flopping?, niether of the guys on the undercard are known in the us to the casual fans, if anything why pay so much money for an undercard fighter with no fanbase if you know the ppv will flop? those are nice adittions for the fans that are already buying the event but that will change little to the final ppv sales, like hardcore fans run the business... i think is more about securing BJS for canelo next, they know canelo cant fight on ppv later this year, so BJS wont get a lot from his actual fight with canelo on regular hbo, but he gets two good paydays in return...
if that was the case gbp will be having lepu-stevens and giving his fighters all the money with an even more action packed fight... expect tureano vs saunders...
