    In the latest in BoxingScene.com's series investigating boxing's Performance Enhancing Drug (PED) problem, we put a number of questions to Francisco Varcarcel, President of the World Boxing Organisation (WBO), the Puerto Rico-based sanctioning body. Varcarcel did not answer them directly, but he did arrange for Boxingscene to speak with long-time WBO Executive Member and First Vice President, John Duggan.

    Good article/interview, but it comes across as if the WBO just don't care about testing really. "With year round testing there are some privacy concern for the boxers", yeah ok, I guess it's lucky for the Olympics and others sports that their guys apparently have less privacy concerns somehow.

      A lot of sidestepping from an organization that , IMO,in my opinion is in the toilet...a pre that won't talk but passes 2 the guy that answered the questions, their lawyer...

          "The WBO is a private non profit organization" LOL this is a slap in the face to every fighter who has ever laced uonyhe gloves or fan who has paid to watch a fight.
