I think Golovkin himself would be repulsed at it. Goes back to what I said about liking Golovkin but finding most of his hardcore fans to be odious.
Yes, that guy is a biased racist *******. But no more than Tyrone Biggums,TheRealPugilist or many others who would happily watch the sport without white fighters and see no problem with it.

If anyone likes a fighter for a reason other than how they throw their punches they are fu(king pathetic.

Agreed. I called Tyrone on his bs numerous times (until he turned it into a silly shtick).
There's plenty of idiots bashing guys because they're white, Filipino, Rican, etc. Small minded, insecure bullshyt.

bruh....i never brought you up race or accused you of anything..WTF are you talking about

this was my post in this thread....read it and comprehend it

there is a difference between a rational fan and a fan boy

I'm a fan of many fighters but I use the same expectation system for them all

every fighter has their down fall or weak points, their human

difference is GGG fanatics criticize other fighters all the time, who they fight, their resume's, etc. but dont look at GGG's career through the same scope.

People expect a fighter being billed as feared, most dangerous man in boxing, p4p # 3 to at least have a resume to match the billing or take a feew risks

dude is 34...its legacy building time or bust

He doesnt have another 10 plus years like Canelo to build a hall of fame career

Im a fan of him, it just upsets me that his fanatics were so critical of fighters today and in the past.

Remember posters on ESB and NSB trashing who roy jones fought for years, HBO even did during broadcasts.....at that point roy won titles at 160,168, and 175 beat over a dozen world champions, was clearly the best fighter in the world and proved it, yet HBO was not pumping him up like a guy who hasnt accomplished .25 of what he did.

The man even made a friggin song about it, "yALL MUSTVE FORGOT"

had to be frustrating being the best fighter in the world and not getting credit......Pernell whitaker didnt get the credit he deserved until he retired....nor did floyd

many of the people who criticized these guys harshly are making excuses for GGG. Reporters, fans, HBO, ring magazine.

You have to be consistent and if you're not with your expectations for fighters then you come off as an irrational fan boy

We can all agree that's the case, at least anybody that's truly honest or the one's that don't care for it like me.

As for me, if it's "hate" they want to weigh on, then they can hate on me for empirical judgements and what's fair to others. Since boxing is a business, I will approach the money the same way boxers or promoters approach it as they don't really care what fans talk about. Therefore, Lil'G gets a pass, and Alvarez also gets a pass. Any person saying the double standards are not fair are just hypocrites.

I'm surprised that there are more open remarks about "color" and opinion on NSB than subtextual racist remarks. Feeding trolls is great.

Since I came here I started using the word "troll" before it got hyped up. We should just all admit that Rod Salka is the best!
