but his height, reach, and being a southpaw make him a threat. and dude is an excellent counter puncher.

So Calzaghe gave the OK to fight this guy after seeing Green get seriously hurt by a bum who had no chance of winning to begin with. Easy Calzaghe win. It's a prospect who performed bad on his last fight vs a world class figher who destroyed Jeff Lacy, who many thought prior was the best super middleweight.

Tarver came on late, although he and RJJ are close in age, but it must be noted, he doesnt have the miles on him that RJJ has.

Green's an 'easy' fight for Calzaghe at this stage. Just throwing him in there before he gets knocked out by anybody! Calzaghe in 5 and that's no jive!

From the horses mouth, Calzaghe would like to fight the winner of Taylor/Wright at 168 and then the winner of Tarver/Hopkins at 175. Also in his sights is the winner of Woods/Johnson III. No European fighter is in Joe's sights, to be honest. If HBO manage to build Kessler up, and if money is in that fight, then maybe Kessler can move up to 175 and challenge Joe in Joe's last fight?
Sure.. Is it because Calzaghe could defeat a overrated Lacy, that you think Kessler wouldnīt be a big fight? Come on, Lacy would make Kessler look just as good. To me, Calzaghe isnīt alone at the top
HBO must have broken all their brains, to make a statement about "building up" Kessler

I thought Calzaghe wanted to capitalize on his expanded exposure he recieved after dominating Lacy? Why fight a prospect.
