Beating Canelo who shouldn't even be ranked in top 10 of anybody p4p list does absolutely nothing for triple G legacy but just a payday, some of you guys just never wanted to see fight which is cool to say but don't make like Canelo is remotely close to ward in skill or giving golovkin any type of tough fight

That's bull****, because it's an interview Fight Hub posted TODAY, dated July 6th. Maybe Roach said the same thing today, but this was posted on their channel today. I just watched it and he said this word for word what they posted.

Canelo isn't a better fighter than Ward though.

Freddie is saying ward is the one guy that will take golovkin to another level legacy wise.

Golovkin would be the underdog against ward.
Golovkin would be the favorite against canelo

Canelo might be a Bi@tch for ducking but he EARNED his P4P top 10. By BEATING 2 guys ranked in the Top #20. 2 Still there. Beating a Top #10. And losing to the best P4P #1 this decade... Hate all you want. Show me your Top #10??? Almost EVERY expert has Canelo in the Top #10. He has HECK of a Resume for only 25 years old...

For one thing, the fights not even happening. So what does it even matter anyways??? Also, understand that Canelo is still a name for the resume and is a more realistic fight to make at this point in time. Canelo is a fighter that brings in more cash, and is a fighter that is still LEVELS above anything that Golovkin has faced, ever.

So at the end of the day, a fight with Canelo still has a lot of upside to it.

If the fight with Ward could have been made, then hell yeah that would've been the fight to go for. That ship has sailed though. So right now just focus on GGG vs Canelo. That's the biggest fight that can be made for Golovkin at this point.

The fight obviously died over the weight, just like Ward/Golovkin.....

..... why do you think that Team Golovkin let that fight slip away after saying this for FOUR YEARS..... "anyone from 154-168"?

They know exactly what would happen if Golovkin climbed into the ring with Canelo having weighed 155 24hrs earlier.

                  The weight IS an issue.

At 160, the advantage goes to Golovkin..... but at 155, the advantage goes to Canelo..... I really do think everyone can see that, but unfortunately Team Canelo have been honest about that fact, whereas Team Bull**** have not.

Unfortunately, it has been left up to Canelo to make that fight, and he is happy doing his thing for now..... so yea, I would forget about that fight if I was you.

At the end of his career, Golovkin fans might be able to say that he was the best middleweight since Hopkins..... but they will not be able to say more than that.

If Ward would had beaten triple G he wouldn't had been considered P4P best.

The naysayers would had said that triple G didn't fight anybody, he is the smaller guy, had a bad night....

Canelo could've easily came in at 160. He just chose not to cuz he wanted to hold the belt hostage and fight smaller guys, which was BS. And the dropping the belt was a BS move too. The promoters still say they can get it done, idk. Still think going for Canelo is easier and more doable than Ward right now.
