Not true GGG have the WBC,WBA,IBF and only has beaten one current champion in his entire careerWell IMO it kind of depend on who they fought. But in todays boxing if a multi weight champ was fighting an undisputed champ, id favor the undisputed champ.
With each division having so many titles in them its easier to grab a title and move up. Look at Broner he was 4 weight champ when he went up against Porter who wasnt undisputed and lost.
To get the undisputed title to your name pretty much means you beat all other champs in the division and created just one champion for that division.Comment

Yeah Broner and Leo Santa Cruz are part of the reason why I made this thread. Its way easier nowadays to become a multi weight champ vs being undisputed. Hell getting through the politics just to get another champ to fight is a victory in itself. If you look at Manny, he was an 8 division world champ but he never held all four belts, then you look at a guy like Bhop and he held all 4 for years and we haven't had an undisputed champ since.Well IMO it kind of depend on who they fought. Difference is he didnt beat the champions to get some of those titles, some were handed to him. I didnt say just collect all the titles to get to undisputed. I said beat all the other champs in your division to get that title to your name.

GGG aside, lets say KKKovalev, beat Stevenson (and Ward never existed) Kovalev makes 20 successful defenses and retires. Then Broner happens to move up (1 day to JrMw) and beat a Liam Smith (type fighter) for his 5th divisional weight class? Whos better?Comment
