Hearns, Duran and Benitez were all prime and at their absolute peaks. Hagler was slightly post prime but bigger and Leonard was coming off a massive lay off.
The closest to a prime opponent May faced was Pacquiao and he was still some 3 years past his best and on the slide. Not to mention smaller, as was JMM. Mosley was shot and Oscar was a close fight against another post prime opponent.
It's not really comparable. Especially when you compare the nature of the wins.
Wilfred Benitez was barely 21 years old when he and Leonard fought, Hearns was 23. How in the hell are they prime but Canelo at 23 and with 43 fights not prime?
Yeah, we'll take the guy with probably the best 4 wins in boxing, and attempt to use him to discredit Floyd. Seems like a great idea.
All this comparison shows is how highly the OP regards Floyd. Comparisons to ATGs always highlight that.
So you know TS is right so you'tr trying to twist it around to favor Floyd as a coping mechanism. Resumes aren't subjective. SRL is greater; the records makes it abundantly clear.
But why am I taking you seriously; you're just trying to be slick and flame this thread.

SRL fought the best at their best weight. Floyd, being the diva that he is, used a draining catchweight, rehydration clauses and all that other beotch made stuff on a lethargic Canelo on fight night.
So that's why resume and in general, SRL > Mayweather.
I would agree with most of your post, except when you say manny was the closest to a prime fighter.. Canelo, corrales, castillo, cotto, hatton, Maidana, where all in their prime or at very least the height of their career.. Also chavez and famoso were also at their peak when floyd beat them, and both would go one to win world titles down the road.. Those guys were much closer to prime than manny was... Not to discredit manny but wasn't the top 1 or 2 p4p like he had been,, more like a top 6 p4p guy
We're clearing talking about the fighters the TS posted, not to mention great fighters. Cotto was great but he was far from the height of his career. Corrales and co were never great.

If you have to ask this question then you know nothing about the sport you profess to be a fan of.

You can't answer the question because you don't realize how nonsensical your original point was.
In the 70s and 80s by the time a man was in his early 20s he was looked as a man. Nowadays we treat people pushing 25 as kids. Canelo had more fights and was older than Benitez but somehow he was preprime and Benitez was prime
