Either clear Povetkin or suspend him. And if he's clear schedule something for later this year. This is getting ridiculous.

One explanation that would make sense of the fact that Wilder team testified is that Wilder was the one to pull the plug in the fight, not WBC. That would be consistent with Ryabinski sueing Wilder and not WBC.

Yea, that's for the courts to decide. Wilder should have no say in this. His opinion on whether Povetkin should be suspended or not doesn't matter. The WBC should make that decision. I don't understand the purpose of him testifying and presenting documents. What documents? It's up to the WBC to look over Povetkin's documents and make a determination. They're trying to pass the buck and cover their ass. The WBC needs to hire their own doctors and scientist to look over Povetkin's documents. Wilder has nothing to contribute to this investigation. He isn't privy to Povetkin's medical records nor should he be.

A six month suspension beginning the date he failed the test. Put him on a testing regime. And he's ready to go in October. Wilder should be ready to go in October also. But if I were Wilder I wouldn't agree to fight in Russia. They lost that privilege when Povetkin failed the test.

Unless they are saying Pov is cleared and it was Wilder who pulled the plug on the fight, without a proper reason,

This is to determine why Povetkin failed a drug test. Last week he presented documents to clear his name and show the WBC why his test showed adverse results. When the WBC postponed the fight (which is the official statement by the WBC) it was because VADA announced adverse levels in Povetkins test. Wilder shouldn't even be a part of this process. It has nothing to do with him. If they're saying Povetkin is cleared they don't need Wilder's two cents. This decision should be based on the medical evidence presented to the WBC by Povetkin and his team and the determination of the documents by VADA and the WBC doctors.

The article simply states that he obviously has the right to present his version of events, present all facts, etc. as would be part of any legal proceeding. Wilder has made some wild accusations about Povetkin being a 'drugs cheat' and it's only fair he presents evidence to these claims or suffers the consequences when not able to.
