How is that Wilders fault? They said he failed the test so of course Wilders gonna talk **** because Povetkin cost them the fight. Wilder didnt pull out because he "suspected" he was cheating. They canceled the fight because these idiots told him Povetkin was dirty. Why would he want to fight someone dirty?

Its the WBC and these agencies who need to come correct. They need to correct themselves so this fight can get made.

So no update then! WBC (We be crooks) awaiting more payment/side money to then decide what to do. Why Wilder is part of the process is beyond belief. Get VADA and WADA involved not Wilder. Then decide and inform both teams and the world.

Disappointing post, Wilder made some "Wild accusations" like what exactly? You mean he accuse Povetkin of failing a drug test? He did fail a drug test!!! Present evidence? Wilder is NOT the testers. Why do I get the feeling that posters like you on here are backing the drug cheats? Doesn't make any sense at all.

Already last year, before the meldonium debacle, he unjustifiably accused Povetkin of being on steroids:

Wilder ... noticed Povetkin’s body looks different than it did before. And it looks more like the bodies of fighters who have tested positive for PEDs ... “I think he’s juicing. He’s looking too big. I have people that have trained him and know him, and being from a different country, they have different techniques that they use. He’s on some kind of steroids. That could be the reason why (he dropped Mike Perez so quickly)

It's only fair he would be demanded to finally explain himself properly, especially given his recent continuation of this type of rhetoric,

I still want to whip his ass. There ain't no drug that he can take that could stop the ass whipping I had waiting for him. Povetkin was never dangerous to me ... it all just to come to a dead end and because of someone else's actions

Those same questions jumped out at me when I read the article. WTF is going here?

WADA/VADA should decide whether Povetkin cheated or not and inform the WBC of their decision. Wilder's opinion should have no bearing on that.

I agree but it's boxing and it's WBC and they're probably making it up as they go.

It's not like they can turn around and say "Well the same testing agencies who found meldonium believe he's innocent but we only believe the first half of that sentence".

However they can drag it on until Wilder gets out of his mandatory obligation if they so desire. They need someone to officially blame the cancellation on.

That's the last thing they'll ever do though. They're not gonna say "We ****ed up and waited too long to make a decision so everyone flew home and lost millions".

WBC's job is finding someone other then WBC to blame, so I guess they made up a hokey trial.

                    This is a mess...

At which point VADA/WADA ruled that Povetkin failed the drug test?
At which moment WBC postponed the fight?
At which moment Wilder withdrew from the fight?

Wilder is an absolute disgrace. Ran away from a signed mandatory without permission of the sanctioning body, slurred Povetkin without any proof, claimed the fight was cancelled when it hadn't even been postponed until his ass was back in Alabama and then launched a spurious claim for $5m damages. Strip this clown.
