Broner was way too big for those lower divisions and stayed there until he absolutely could not. Why does that deserve credit? I also don't understand why people give him credit for fighting good fighters, as if Golovkin is turning down the Maidanas and Porters at MW rather than the other way around. And let's not forget Broner not only fought Porter at a catchweight, he tried to impose a rehydration limit too, but scrapped it because he was too big to make it himself.

There are fighters you could use to argue against Golovkin, but why they insist on using Broner I don't know. He is not some example of taking on big challenges that puts Golovkin to shame. Ward moving up to fight Kovalev, that is a good example. Stick to that, Golovkin haters.
    Correct.

But you're being too logical. THe truth is 90% of Golovkin haters are racist blacks who defend ducking, cherry picking and catchweights only if it's a black fighter doing it. Where were all these ******s when Mayweather was weight draining Canelo? Utter hypocrisy and poorly veiled racism smh.

You mean you haven't figured this out yet Larry? It's easy. He's damaged goods now. When he insulted the entire Mexican fan base, arguably the biggest boxing fans in the world right there with the Ricans and Brits, he pretty much shot himself in the foot. You never insult the number 1 paying customer, not even Floyd Mayweather would do some dumb ish like that.

Every fighter at 147 or 140 is scared to death of Broner. Take your pick. I mean, this guy can't get a fighter to "man up". All dem welterweights be ditchin dem belts in utter fear of BRONER.

They are different fighters with a different history. As to the age Broner started young and GGG started at an old age. What would be more fair would be to compare their progress from the day of their first pro fight. Almost everybody think GGG is a better fighter than Broner because it's true. Most fans consider GGG by far the best middleweight in the world. Almost nobody considers Broner the best at 147, 140 or 135. Broner has received two ass kickings as a pro. All of GGG's fights have been one sided wins, usually by KO. He seldom loses a single round and has never lost more than two rounds in any fight. GGG hasn't defeated as many champions as he could have because champions duck him. GGG has collected almost all the middleweight title belts and defended them about 15 times. Broner has been unable to hold onto any title belt very long. As for popularity GGG respects everyone and doesn't trash talk. Broner disrespects everyone and brags and trash talks overtime.

Go back to jerkin off to floyd all access and 24/7 episodes

Broner will never get into the hall of fame, barring a drastic turnaround in his career

And ggg has a good chance to make it there

Because someone Floyd or Broners stature have 4 separate weight classes btw 130 and 147.

Golovkin, from what we are supposed to believe, can make 154. But idk how expedient it would be starting a late career in a foreign country under a promoter who apparently didn't care about helping him become a star at 154. But I could be wrong.
I think GGG just always and still comfortably makes 160 much like Broner making 147

We all know Broner was fed very mediocre competition at 130-135 but I think he should have remained there. He really could have 135 on lockdown and having an awesome showdown with Mikey and Crawford. Maybe Gambia would have happened too. But that's not how things panned out. Broner moved to 147 and has serious trouble even making 140 now. I even think they had to dismiss that rehydration Claus with Porter because it was going to hurt Broner more apparently. Bottom line, he would be praised as superman if he stayed at 135 and ran train on those who stepped up

Chilemba would annihilate Brand easily. That's how much of a mismatch Ward's fight is ....no jokes. Kovalev is fighting a legit opponent ranked in the top 10 at LHW, Ward is fighting a 39 yr old SMW who isn't even ranked in the SMW top 20.

It's partly circumstances that GGG is dominating a very weak middleweight division. Broner quite frankly has no business at 147 he's really a 140lber and Welterweight presently is a strong division by comparison to middleweight.

And while GGG handlers are complete morons outside of the ring, GGG himself is endearing. While Broner, might be an ok guy but he himself acts like a moron in terms of his persona.
