    Next to impossible.

First off, he'd have to rematch Floyd and beat him fair and square (no robbery)

Clean out 154 by beating the charlo bros, Andrade, Smith, and possible Lara rematch which was controversial the first time.

Go to mw with no 155 bs and beat Ggg. Then beat other guys like Saunders and Jacobs.

Then move up and beat the degale-jack winner, have all-Mexican showdowns with ramirez and Chavez jr.

I haven't voted because there are way too many variables.

For a man so young, Canelo has already done so much but his recent situation with GGG will haunt him till he eventually fights him and if he doesn't, then he will never live it down.

Besides that, he has an opportunity to beat some decent fighters at 154 and if he manages to do that (Charlos, Andrade) and then win a title and defend it at 160 too, depending on the names he faces along the way, he definitely could.

Floyd is a great fight. Canelo never looks great and never will. Impossible for an above average guy to surpass a great talent.

Nope. Canelo and GGG are both fighters that could make the HOF potentially, but neither have done enough for that so far and neither could surpass Floyd.

Not sure you can ever surpass the guy that beat you handedly on a list for comparison. Right?

He would have to knock out triple G and break Hopkins middleweight title defense record.

Funny to see threads where everyone universally agrees on ****.
