Comments Thread For: Golovkin's Promoter Optimistic Despite No Canelo Guarantee

If Tom Loeffler and the rest of Gennady Golovkin's team would've had their way, 'Triple G' would've fought for the World Boxing Council title and the lineal middleweight championship some time ago.

what exactly does beating a smaller afraid scared mex Canelo

Why does GGG insist on beating the mex out of the smaller inferior Canelo violently? Beating the burro out of the smaller Canelo yellow means nothing to GGG the great middleweight champion and budding boxing legend. GGG needs to clean out the middles then beat the bigger Gilberto and DeGale and make and solidify the GGG commie legend. A canyellow KO means little in boxing. Let the low can-yellow fight at 154lbs as it is a mexican mess anyway. The powerful dignified Russian warlord GGG is superior to canelo anyway.

Lil Tommy L considered every day he got a wedgie in 7th grade gym class, but not an atomic wedgie, a good day.

Fairly simple choice I would suggest - what would you rather hold: WBO 154lb belt or the unified, lineal middleweight belt? Not really difficult is it!! If Canelo thought he would win that fight he would have taken it. Actually, Canelo might well believe he would win that fight, I just don't think De La Hoya believes it. So we let it stew for another year and call it "building the fight". F*** off.

Canelo is at 154 now but li'l bumlovkin still wants to fight him. What a coward. Only cowards try to fight guys in lower divisions instead of daring to be great and moving up like Andre Ward. SOG would never try to fight a guy in a lower division than ... oh, wait ..

The fact of the matter is GGG and his cult following understand that without Canelo, what would appear to be a solid career will stagnate into oblivion. And not the other way around. Canelo can go another 10+ years without fighting GGG and still push the boundaries of legend. Not the other way around.

And the blame for that lies on GGG and his team for accepting mediocrity and not doing anything about it. His fans keep providing excuses for it, as well. They should be out there shopping this product mercilessly, taking weight cuts, pay cuts, etc to get that foot in the door amongst boxings elite.

Thats the reality. They will hunt this fight down like they're looking for a long lost relative, until the end of time.

I sure hope the fight happens as well, because when Canelo beats GGG it's going to be priceless watching the turds say to themselves "well, I guess we ****ed up and put all our eggs in the wrong basket..."

We got it, you don't want GGG to have a huge PPV fight, so you can claim his resume sucks and others sell more PPV than him.
