    Hell, golf, snooker and darts get much higher viewer ratings. Viewers determine advertising money. Two or three million viewers every few months is not going to get anyone multi million $$$.

    You're underestimating just how much money is involved in boxing.

          I'm sure, but where does the bulk of money in boxing come from? I understand the big events but I don't see how so many make such a big living (and of course all the middle and lower rankers).

            I imagine many of them work full time jobs to go along with their meager purses. I know Glen Johnson did for a long time.
