First of all Vargas holds a title. Second Brook is not the # 1 guy at WW and at the pace he is going he will be irrelevant.

Should Vargas be paid well for travelling to England to put his belt on the line? Yes.

Should Vargas be getting paid more than Kell Brook? No.

Brook is widely regarded as one of the top welterweights and has a win over Porter to prove it. Vargas hasn't done much at 147 aside from losing 11 and 3/4 rounds to Bradley, landing a lucky punch , and then later beating Sadam Ali.

Hearn is letting Arum take him for a ride I think.

They do a lot of name dropping to promote their fighter but no decent fight has materialized. If they sign somebody he claims injury. So there is no making this guy fight anybody unless the sanctioning body obligates him

Hearn is talking out of both sides of his mouth. He said they didn't have an agreement. Then he said they came to an agreement this weekend. He said that Brook didn't want the fight because of the money. Then, he says Brook is ready to fight Vargas for a smaller purse.

By the end of the month, Hearn will claim they couldn't come to an agreement and Brook will be fighting another D-level stiff in the fall for $600,000. Brook needs to come to the realization that he is not The Man at welterweight. He is not even the man sitting next to The Man at Welterweight and will never become The Man unless and until he starts beating quality fighters.

I wonder why Hearn is still talking about the one on Vargas' end. I thought that was already settled and Vargas accepted. No complaints.

Isn't Brook the one who is not happy on his end? That should be the only one Hearn should be clarifying.
