Yes he could beat MAYweather.... Spence is a big natural welter with all e potential in the world,, he has a very good chance of beating the smaller and older Mayweather

The Floyd that fought Andre Berto was a Floyd Mayweather Jr that was in clear decline; his boxing brain is still otherworldly and he still has a great gauge for range/distance, but he was missing shots that he never misses, was letting Berto get off with making mistakes and not having to pay, and was sucking oxygen with every opportunity possible.

Floyd, at this point and imo, is about where Bernard Hopkins was when he fought Karo Marat; boxing brain on a different level, with the physical tools now limited but with still enough there to hang with anyone near his size.

If Erroll Spence Jr is really "the truth", he beats Floyd; Floyd not being all the way sharp any longer, the young lion presses him with the type of ability that Floyd was showing when he was younger, and Floyd simply doesn't hold up.

If he's not, Floyd has enough old-school knowledge/guile, with just enough of the physical tools left, to "old man" his way to a win.

I still have questions regarding Spence's chin. Wasn't too long ago that he got rocked by Lartey,
