No, I'm just not letting my dislike for Mayweather get in the way of the obvious.

Pressure does not equal parity. Throwing punches in bunches looks game, but, gotta tag the guy to score points.

Especially in the Pac fight - I can't ever recall thinking "Okay, Pac's got the upper hand here".

Y'all do realize Spence has been one of Fmj's sparring partners in a few of his camps starting with the ghost fight. FMJ beats Spence right now on sheer ring IQ. However FMJ did admit Spence got the better of him in the first couple of days of sparring but once he shook the rust off Spence was getting whooped.

I say yes, but Floyd's economical footwork could bail him out. Floyd has been showing his age in the last few fights. If he returns he is going to have ring rust and being 40 to overcome. A game Spence who won't just follow Floyd around falling into trap after trap might get to him.

This is one of those polls where you find out what % of NSB is honest and and % is just dishonest and spiteful.

I think he has an excellent chance to beat Mayweather or any other welterweight. He hasn't beaten anybody really good yet but he just crushes pretty good fighters. He seems to have everything going for him. He has fast hands and accurate powerful combinations. He is one of the best body punchers in boxing. He has a highly developed killer instinct. He is hard to hit clean and so far I have never seen him staggered or hurt by any punch so his punch resistance seem very good. Mayweather was great and he is probably still damn good but he gets older and further past prime while Spence is improving. I am not sure of their exact ages but I think Spence is about 14 years younger.I'd pick the younger man if they fought now.

At this point I think you might be able to run Floyd down and get to him. That's what Freddie Roach has been talking about with "his legs are gone." If you can keep late 30s Floyd on his toes more than he wants to be, he's going to run out of gas. Nobody was good enough to do that though.

I'd say h*ll yea. Floyd's what 40 or 39 now? I think Spence could win enough rounds to beat Floyd, yes.
Look at what Maidana did. He bull rushd him all night and as cement footed and slow he can be, he made it work the best he could and almost won!
Let's face it. Floyd is OLD. He may have it in him to take punishment but there's a point where your body will just give in.
