Agreed. I once asked Freddie if Manny got hurt in that fight and he said a couple of times and it took everything he had to not go down. he also confirmed the rumour that Manny was basically in bed for 3 days pissing blood.

I agree with others that Manny's work ethic did drop after that fight but I'm also pretty sure that this was a fight that shaved some time off his prime. for one reason or another or maybe a combination of reasons Manny was never Manny again after this fight. Bob sent him on a mission too far.
