So, yeah, if Eubank could push Saunders close, and Saunders has gone on to win a world title and beat a top name like Lee, I'd say Eubank is at least somewhat proven. I wouldn't say it's a stretch to suggest he would be competitive with Lee, Jacobs, Quillan, Korobov etc, based on what we've seen from him since Saunders.
why has only eubank improved and no other MW?? do other MW's go backwards and only eubank forward?

Do you know what world class is? I'm often surprised when posting do this.

Murray is world class because he belongs fighting the top in the world, even if he loses to the champs. He's fought and held his own against the top fighters in the world, Sergio, GGG, etc.

Eubanks isn't world class. He has fought one world class fighter, Suanders. And lost. But he's been fighting demotic level talent since.

If Eubanks was fighting and beating top 20 MW, guys who are world class, nit would be another story.

I'm not sure why. Murray should have beaten Sergio, and has fought some of the best fighters in the world. Eubanks hasn't.

Comparing him to Martin Murray actually devalues any opinion worth having.
Comparing Eubanks to Murray right now is a joke. Murray is a proven world class fighter. Eubanks is not. It's that simple.

Point is, Eubanks looks good against domestic fighters, but looked suspect against the one world class fighter he has faced.

There is a big step up from domestic to world class level. Big step!

Murray fought a much better version of Sergio than Cotto did. Murray isn't a champion level, but he's world class. Eubanks has done nothing that makes me think he's world class.

He has some nice attributes, but using them against domestic level fighters is one thing, but against the best in the world is another.

I could see it going either way, because Eubanks has no world level wins at all. He had fought Suanders, but lost. I think Murray gives Suanders a really good fight.

The Fact People are Even Debating who Wins Eubanks/Murray Shows...

The fact there is any debate on whether Eubanks can beat Murray says it all about his chances to beat GGG.

Eubanks isn't even close to GGG level. Which is what the haters will say when Eubanks looks a lot like Wade in that he will look overmatched by a guy who is far too good.

Eubanks comes in talking tough, gets hit and then quickly collects his check. His speed will do little in this fight. He doesn't have the experience to threaten GGG.

Eubanks entire game plan will be to hopefully land a shot that KO GGG. He won't out box him. They are not on same level. Eubanks is really wide open, and for no reason.

trust me mate eubank might not beat ggg but you cant compare wade to eubank mate. eubank is a hungry fighter he has always had money so he doesnt need to do this. he was trained by mike mccallum in las vegas and hes fighting style is more aggressive. And if you watched the program AT HOME WITH THE EUBANKS about 13 years ago where jnr about 12 or 13 years old pestering hes dad nearly every episode "please let me fight dad please " NO SON then you can see he wanted it from way back then. the guy is in it to be the best its in hes genes he grew up with this stuff and to say hes anything like dominic wade who struggled with sam soliman is ridiculas. as i said he may not beat ggg because ggg might possibly be a future great but eubank hasnt hit hes prime yet and he trains like an absolute animal that cant be compared to.

listen mate eubank fought bjs too early and wasnt far away from stealing the fight. if you look at the fighters bjs fought to the fighters eubank fought at the time plus the rounds aswell as how many 12 rounders they had bjs had every advantage going into the fight for experience. so the fact that its was a close fight id say eubank done a decent job aswell as bjs whipping andy lee for the wbo title a fight later says eubank faired alot better against bjs than andy lee did and it was hes first 12 rounder. he stopped chudinov who is ranked number 20 on boxrec and stopped spike o sullivan than bjs coudnt and blackwell that bjs couldnt. so i say he has all the ingredients to be a middleweight champion.
