I think Canelo fully intends to fight him in Fall 2017. He's "ducking" him at the moment so far as his promoters want the fight to be built up and want to squeeze a few more fights out of him before potentially "sacrificing" him to Golovkin.

But it's silly to say Ward is ducking him when he's fighting Kovalev this fall. Golovkin is being ducked by a few guys (Sergio Martinez fully admitted to doing so), but to say everyone who doesn't fight him tomorrow from 140-175lbs is ducking him is ridiculous.

GGG is better than Kovalev, why don't you for a change look up what GGG said in his native tongue and not what he said in his English tongue about this fight with Ward he clearly exposes the bull**** from Wards side.
Ward never wanted it the first time and when it came about making it happen the second time well here have a look at this.

Canelo not having a say in this fight is one of the most hilarious thing I can hear from a seasoned boxing fan. He could have not signed for the Liam fight and told oscar that he is not fighting anyone unless he makes the Golovkin fight. Oscar can only advise canelo and Canelo swallows those recommendations. If he had any faith in himself he would have pushed for the fight instead of hiding behind the GBP banner. They don't even have a network or promotional issue between them. Its a clear balant duck.
