Ofcourse you did.. And the fans were expecting Stiverne, Jennings,Ortiz on that lines.. Heck Stiverne said in an interview too that he was ready and in camp already, but still you had to choose Christobar "the marijuana man" Arreola

Why rematch man that was dominated ? Jennings is coming off a KO with two losses and Ortiz is facing his mandatory (Ustinov)...he might of never passed Vada testing anyways.
Povetkin's tears are falling while the Bronze Bomber makin it rain money!
He gettin paid boy! Boooomb Squaaaaaaad!
Wtf is wrong with you brother? Are you Deontay's personal Leonard Ellerbe or sumthin? Unless you're seeing that money yourself, you should be interested in seeing good fights, not how much a fighter is getting paid in a mismatch. He would have gotten paid a lot more to fight Povetkin, FYI.

You should change your name to ' Boxing Idiot ' incase you haven't heard the WBC has yet to rule on Pedvetkins doping...that's kind of important.
Planned to say something critical about the title quote but after reading the article, this kinda shut me up, "It's a short notice fight. A lot of guys said they would take it, but used the short notice as an excuse."
It's not like Wilder is one of these guys that only fights every 6 to 9 months. This is just a keep-busy with an available opponent. Sucks that it's Areola but hard to really find a lot of legit criticisms considering the circumstances.
"People said Arreola doesn't deserve the shot, but who are they to say things about a man who every time he gets in the ring he fights with his heart," said Wilder.
"There's only one name who can make this be what it is. Every time he steps in the ring, he comes to fight. I think we chose the right person."
You know, I'm still sort of a fan of Wilder, but every time he says something like this I become a little less so.
Deontay, my man, title challengers aren't decided based on who fights with the most heart (and frankly Travis Kauffman showed way more heart than Chris in his last outing, and didn't fail his fcuking drug test either). They're made based on rankings and in-ring results. Though, given the fact that Arreola wasn't even in the WBC top fifteen at the time you 'chose' him, but magically appeared in their next update, it's clear neither you nor the WBC itself really cares a fig about that.
The fans, however, do.
Arreola is an indefensible choice on a number of levels. He's old, shot, previously unranked, lost his last four fights, never beaten anyone of note in his entire career, and is coming off a suspension for a failed test, which means he'll be fat as fcuk come fight night.
Even the last minute excuse thing doesn't really hold water. Simply put, if none of the actual ranked contenders that were approached were willing to fight at that short notice then push back the date. Don't make backroom deals with the WBC to artificially install a guy in the rankings after you've chosen him to defend your title against. That's shady as fcuk, and calls into question the legitimacy of your whole title reign and the apparatus used to enforce it.
Wilder would be best advised to just STFU about this whole fiasco, get it over and done with, and move on.

So What!? He is a better opponent than Fat Arreola.. In fact Arreola is Stivernes left over, got a draw against Kassi, got done for smoking weed against Kauffman.. I don't see the credibility in Arreola and considering that he was no way in the top 15 or 20 for that matter in WBCs rankings up until this fight was announced, makes me wonder why he was chosen though..
I want my American HW to do much better than that..
Deontay is on borrowed time. Those stilts won't be keeping him up when he gets a real tapping on the chin. I'll take Arreola to rock Wilder before getting blasted out himself in round 3 or 4.
