So basically, Marquez admits he wants Cotto drained, and we got meat heads on page 1 supporting this. Great ultimatum, I hope Cotto walks away, because this is the wrong fight. Cotto vs Bradley at 150 lbs is the move.

2 ofmy all time favorite fighters but I see no need for them to fight. Marquez hasn't fought in 2 years and doesn't belong at 147 to begin with and Cotto belongs at 154-160. Its really a lose-lose for Cotto. He'd probably win but would get no credit because Marquez is smaller, older, and hasn't fought in 2 years.

Much rather see Bradley-Cotto. That is the fight that needs to happen.

Marquez was smaller than PAC, in the 4th fight, and left PAC comatose.

        147 is fine.

I'm pretty sure this fight won't happen. But I also recognize that JMM can't have much left in the tank, so I'd rather he retire.

It would be funny if JMM made pompous diva Cotto dance like a good boy. Many want Bradley/Cotto, which would be a great fight, but Cotto would lose, even though he'd insist on and get most of the advantages. Vs JMM, he has a good chance of winning. Both would be great money fights for Cotto, but those are the options he has to weigh.

Cotto is never making 47 and why would he want to put himself through that anyway, its not worth it.

He hasn't made 47 for over 6 YEARS and even though he is small above 154, he is not making that weight now, so Marquez should just move on.

Lose to Bradley? I wouldn't be so sure, Cotto has the jab, power and punch accuracy to neutralise Tim. I actually lean towards Cotto in that fight, although its tough to call.

marquez is the worst one because aside from fighting manny this dude brings shit to the table. he only draws when he fight pac but then he acts like he's the one in control calling the shot. at this point even a loss to canelo, cotto is still at a higher position than marquez.
