Jones won with ease. I don't remember it as being a very good fight. Jones and Toney are all time greats but their fight was just average in my opinion. I don't think it deserves to be called the greatest fight of anybody's generation.

Both were impressive in their own right.

Roy fought part time firefighters. Fact.

        Floyd fought champions. Fact.

        That's the difference.

Never compare the two again. Casual spotted.

        Lol, ^^

Roy would have destroyed your boy at any weight you want.

Gonna have to disagree with you there, Roy was known by boxing nerds like us before boxingn nerds like us.

I not saying it was hagler/hearns, Im saying this is where Roy started his reign. You tell me who could have beat him on this night, no one could from the past and no one fighting today could have ****ed with him.

Roy was the best fighter any of us has ever seen. Put him in the ring with Floyd at any weight you want to he beats him like he stole something. You know it and I know it, he was too small for LHW but he went to to HW and got a strap. He dont get the respect he deserves, Its a shame he ruled an entire decade hands down and dont get the respect he deserves, Floyd runs around and pot shots fools and he is tbe. Roy would kill this fool.

Tarver lost the first fight and there really isnt any debate, it was close yes but he didnt win for *** sake. How many times has Tarver been popped for doping you dumb twat.

I came back here to say that I dont have anything in the world against Floyd, this dude is is the best business man we have ever seen in boxing. That being said he isnt in the same league as Roy when it comes to pure talent. Roy would have beat the brakes off Floyd in the ring but Roy could have never pulled off the money grab Floyd did.

What?? Roy was hardly ever touched. Y'all musta forgot.

The guy was very defensive minded and called boring at the time, but if he wanted to he could certainly finish, switching instantly into offence from defence.

                      Roy was the most skilled
                      Floyd was the most accomplished
Wlad and Manny were the most dominant
