Wait, Wade was an undefeated #1 contender. Brand wasn't undefeated, and amateur career would mean something if he wasn't 39, Smw with 3 fights outside of Colombia

Both are pretty horrendous. The only real difference is Ward actually has a p4p, hof type fight happening next. It's easy to ignore that if you are a hater. But in comparison, everyone is settling on Golovin fighting a prospect with virtually no world class experience.

You cannot get credit for who you will fight next, until that happens..

It is pretty obvious Wards resume at SMW > GGGs resume at MW, that's coming from a GGG fan.. But let's face the facts here Wards SMW era was good half a decade ago and we have only seen horrible matchups the last few yrs and the obvious reasons are tuneups and injuries.. Also, you cannot go into the most difficult, exciting fight of your career fighting Brands of the world.. Do not justify your bad choice by saying the other guys opponent sucks more.. The other guy is irrelevant to you and this fight..
