I could buy into that statement. There are certain similarities to grasp onto. Although, I wouldn't go so far as to legitimize it altogether. Hatton already was a name before he fought Tszyu...& Tszyu was still trying to chase that FMJ fight. The differences in the situations are brighter than the similarities.

Yes, but Tszyu was doing fine in the fight, it was a very close fight actually. Ricky just beat him into submission though. It was a close fight, but in the end Tszyu was not responding to his trainer, and Ricky made him quit. Ricky also had an iron chin back then and Tszyu couldn't hurt him in Rd 9 Tszyu hits him with a great straight right, Ricky puts his hands down and looks right at him and then just keeps walk toward him. A classic moment for me.

Was thinking the same thing. But you can't expect Mr Silver Spoon to really know his boxing history.

Idk, Ricky Hatton was pretty freaking popular before Tszyu. Wasn't he selling out MEN arena already? But this is going to be a major fight, for Golovkin it'll be even bigger than the Lemieux fight which sold out MSG. Hearn's already pumping it up, the UK media tour should be interesting, hopefully HBO pumps it up on the US side.

Not happening and ANYONE (and it will be some twit Brit) that will say Eubanks is even mild competition for GGG is out of their FN minds. If they say that they are imbeciles. Completely.

Very huge task and it would be bigger than Hatton vs. Tszyu
