Disappointing to see Jakebert parating Tom Loeffler's BS title defense marketing gimmick. Last thing we need is to further legitimize WBA's belt racketeering.

maybe im overstating it but every single top fighter the last 50 years moved up in weight usually multiple times even after age 30 to truly test themselves even after they found their comfortable weight. i cant think of any that stayed at one weight class their entire career just because they could they all moved up because staying at one class was too easy or they couldnt get anyone to fight them tho we all know 160 is a weak division. can u imagine if pac or mayweather stayed at 135 or 140? maybe im overstating it but geez for someone who is supposed to be all avoided and cant get a big fight and no im not talking eubank im talking real deal career defining threat and no canelo is not that to save his life why he doesnt go up in weight to find that challenge literally makes no sense. even ward is going up in weight looking for a true once in a career type challenge.
i hate to sound like a broken record but it it gets old. i mean for **** sake eubank is going to be his hardest fight as a pro thats ridiculous. maybe i care so much cause hes old and even tho people think hes a machine hes not young and over night it will show sooner then later meaning not much time to take on some real challengesComment

You're stuck on a technicality. Who was a better Wba champ, Sturm or Ggg? Who bribed people to get promoted and avoid mando Ggg?Comment

Canelo is going to have BJS fight on his undercard to possibly setup a 160lbs WBO title fight (I guess Canelo does want a MW title after all?)
As for Jacobs, K2 did make Danny an offer and he rejected it. (starts after 1min)
As for Golovkin moving up to 168, DeGale/Jack aren't even fighting until November now. Rameriz & Arum are saying next year. Groves is still rebuilding himself and has a title fight later this year and Callum Smith is still in prospect mode. There's not really anyone else. Golovkin's a legit MW. His entire career has been amazingly fought at a 3lb range of 158.5 to 161.25. I'd rather see him stay at MW, but take a couple high level SMW fights as one off deals. Eubank, Khurtsidze, Derevyanchenko are interesting enough fights while he waits for Alvarez, Saunder, Jacobs, DeGale/Jack, and Rameriz. The WBC is working with the WBA & IBF to have a tournament for the winner to face Golovkin for his future mandatory.
i've seen that video. k2 doesn't pay jacobs. they negotiate a purchase fo the fight by a netowrk [hbo or showtime,] and then negotiate a split of that revvie. or they put it on ppv. jacobs, clearly, wants ppv money, and he's alluding to giving the fight a year and a half to build to that point. he got a million and a half bucks agaisnt peter quillin. that fight absolutely bombed on showtime, and cost them money. HBO can't afford to pay him that much to fight golovkin, who commands more money by a huge stretch, given how poorly jacobs' fight with quillin did on showtime.Comment

Yawn. Good luck with all that, I suggest you form a GGG truth commission with the real pugilist, Kigali and the ilk. When is your man Lara gonna become a legit champ?Comment

It gets old hearing you criticize GGG. Remember when you screamed he would duck Lemieux and then you turn around months later and said GGG took an easy fight vs Lemieux. Yeah that's you in a nutshell.Comment
