I have always like James, but lets face it, he is a fighter destined for a shorter than average career. He also never dedicated 100% into it. He would receive a good payday and then disappear to spend that money. He would then re-appear and look for another big check.

I do not see anything going on with him at this point. He will either wreck possible career rebuilding fights by walking from smaller paydays or break up with Ann again before any of that happens.

I think he lost the fight yes. Not by 4 points, by 1 or 2. I think his defense is what made the judges see it in his favor. As far as the PED thing, that's not been proven, but if it has, that's fine too. Imo 90% of ALL fighters use them. I have been involved in fitness for many, many years now, so it would be no surprise to hear of any fighter using. Manny was caught with pics of acne on his back, likely from a short ester, Marquez, the same... we can all name a slew of fighters who have been caught. It's the sad way the sports world works. No one here needs your insults and it only shows your ignorance of being able to communicate without acting like a 2 year old throwing a tantrum. I'm sorry you're uneducated (that's in short what ignorance means btw), but no need for all the name calling and whining.

How many times has he gone back with working with her now?

So I'm guessing he just got tired of putting himself thru all that... even though he can't win much without her.

I think she only likes the ladies.

I've seen a Youtube interview where she says she hated seeing Kirkland's destruction vs Canelo.

Agreed, like Roy Jr said during that fight... what the he!! is keeping him upright? This next fight will indeed be interesting IMO.

          ----------------------------------------------------------------

As for the Ann Wolfe reference ... her needing Kirkland? He may need her, but she definitely doesn't need him. She's doing fine without him. Let's see how this works this time, how long they stay as a team. I'll think positive thoughts and wish him the best. I mean, he's never in a boring fight, at least we can agree on that.
She hated it but at the same time already knew he was going to lose and deep down she felt vindicated. He basically fired her and signed his own death certificate.

I like the guy and that was a HELL of a round! But when your on the LOSING side of KO'd of the Year??? He should of went CRAWLING back the VERY next day.

Like I said, he's proven he isn't too bright. I'm just saying I'll give him one last chance to get his act together.

Kirkland's biggest mistake of his career was leaving Wolfe & getting KO'd by light-hitting Ishida. Canelo punches hard enough, but his brutal KO of Kirkland opens the door for every future opponent to try to chin-check the "Mandingo Warrior".

Ann Wolf made Kirkland a machine with no boxing ability. He's older, broken down, and obviously punchy. That tough act only works when you can absorb a punch of punishment. He's getting stopped by the next decent guy he fights.

I'm sure that will make or break his career... nice of you though.
