They know canelo vs smith will do horrible numbers, so they probably think its better to tell they are going willingly to hbo instead of admitting they can't dp ppv anymore without a live body.

I enjoyed watching him splat Khan and I will enjoy watching him KO Smith and whoever he fights in the third fight. Hell, you clearly dislike him and probably have disliked him for years. Just don't watch him then. I never pay for anybody's fights. I watch the same fight for free a week later. He has already fought Lara, Trout and Cotto. Those are good wins and they are hardly Salka type opponents. You already have him fighting a bum in December. No matter who Canelo fights you will trash him and his opponents.

I was actually a huuuggge Canelo fan when he fought cotto man. Use to respect him, and i am not saying he is not exciting to watch. But the **** he pulled this year was too far. Lol last year canelo had so many fans on this forum, and now there are barely any. Just cuz you dislike canelo now doesnt mean you always disliked him lol have you not been reading what he did this past couple months. You dont call GGG into a ring after you just KOd a welterweight and talk shii then give up the belt to him and fight some guy named beefy. You wont keep many fans doing pulling that.

Also, the way they're are already talking regular HBO again shows they know Canelo is hurting and it's not looking up at all.

I think HBO will soon realizes Canelo is jacked as a Floyd/Manny level superstar.

He is gonna to risk losing them money or at least making it very little. They didn't realize the Khan numbers and I bet it's low for Canelo. 350k. That is crap considering he's supposed to be next Floyd and yes on what, his like 8th ppv, like three major ones.

The way the media and fans crapped on him for vacating, ducking GGG, and now fighting Smith, I'll be surprised if this next fight does as well as Khan.

You prob dont know this, but canelos contract with hbo states that he has to fight in regular hbo at least once a year, he hasnt done that since he fought kirk last year... so it will prob be tureano at 157 on regular hbo for december, hbos contract with canelo demands that one fight cuz they want to atract new suscribers, not just make money out of ppv fights.. canelo should make enough money at the gate to pay for his fights without taking too much from hbos budget... kirkland and trout fights for example..

I use to love Canelo just because he was always taking the fights nobody wanted like the Lara fight and the Trout fight, but now he thinks he is such a star that he can just duck and dodge. But now he is gonna find his star power is gone. He screwed the pooch.

We already know the story, it goes like this:

September 2016
Canelo v Smith--Cnelo misses weight again, renegotiates to fight at 155.5 and now for no title. Smith loses a split decision with one judge giving Canelo an insane amount of rounds. Canelo wins but many people question if he should have.

December 2016

Canelo v Lemiuex-- Canelo is officially back at Caneloweight, but now Canelo weight is 156. Lemiuex looks half dead at 156 and is KO'd in round 7. Canelo fans think this means Canelo us better than GGG because he beat Lemiuex quicker. Lemiuex almost dies of dehydration.

May 2017.

Canelo v. Brooks. Broojs s dragged up to 157. Canelo wins 12 round SD, but again one judge has Canelo winning where everyone else says bs.


June 2017. Golden Boy Announce Canelo isn't a MW and needs to tune up at 160 before fighting GGG. Fight moved to September 2018.


Thus will change if GGG starts o show signs to weakness anytime for Sep. 2017.
