So debuting on a new station CBS to lower ratings then you debuted on FOX or NBC despite having the biggest and most promoted show in PBC history is some how good ratings? And even the main event numbers are not the best we have seen by PBC standards which already have lower standards then Network big sporting events. Even when you simply compare the highest 30 mins of PBC to the AVG of other sporting events PBC its not impressive. But Networks care about what your entire program draws not the last 30mins when you just paid for 2 1/2 hours of TV time. Drawing just 3m viewers for the last 30-45min of a 2 1/2 time block is nothing for Network TV. PBC should be getting 4-5m and the ratings shouldn't be dropping each time they debut on a new network especially with bigger and better fights.

We talking about the ratings up in here if you just care ONLY about the fights and don't want to discuss the politics, channels, ratings ect then let the adults talk about it. Inaccurate, as usual. Fox aired MLB on that same Saturday night - part of it head-to-head against the CBS/PBC card - and the CBS/PBC beat MLB in every single category, including in total viewers, average viewers and in every demo.

But Networks care about what your entire program draws not the last 30mins when you just paid for 2 1/2 hours of TV time.

Networks also care about demos, and Thurman-Porter did well in the key demos. It tied for first among all network prime time programs on Saturday night in the Adults 18-34 demo, and it was first among all network prime time programs on Saturday night in the critical Males 18-49 demo.

As usual, you fail to consider all the relevant factors, including lower HUT levels during the summer months and the availability of other compatible sports programming on the applicable network for cross-promotion. We know, for example, that UFC on Fox does much higher viewership during the fall and winter when Fox uses its NFL telecasts to promote the UFC events. UFC on Fox traditionally does lower viewership during spring and summer, and the same would be expected for CBS.

PBC out did 1 regular season baseball game (1 of 182) a middle of summer meaningless game which was horrible matchup at that with the Mets facing the DEAD LAST PLACE Braves. And PBC with their biggest fight by far barely beats that dog crap MLB game which is was the WORST MLB on Fox rating of the entire season and they got killed by the trials for gymnastics.

So losing bad to gymnastics and barely edging out the worst game FOX has aired to date somehow makes these great PBC ratings? Even though it's only 4th best ratings of the 10 they have already aired but it was billed and promoted more the the previous 10. So why have the ratings gone down from other Network debuts like FOX or NBC despite PBC being around longer and this show being promoted more?

And now the ratings suck because it was in the summer? LMAO When all I heard about why PBC is cutting down their shows in the Fall/Winter was to avoid football and cut all their shows in Feb and March was because it wanted to avoid NCAA basketball and NBA/NHL.And now you telling me Summer ain't no good either? So when the F is PBC going to air fights if they can't in the summer, fall or spring? When PBC ratings suck there is always some excuse first it was they want shows in the summer so they have less sporting events to compete with and now summer ratings suck and it's because well it's the summer ratings go down that time of year.

By the way MLB on FOX for their regular season games the week before avg 2.78m viewers. And their avg for the year is higher then PBC did for their so called "super" fight. And that's for reg season meaningless games. When FOX air's MLB's best games like the playoffs they draw ratings in the double digits in some cases more then 10m MORE then PBC just did with their best fight ever. I'll say it again even by PBC standards these are not good ratings. And by the higher normal Sporting event standards these are not very good.
