How would Mike Tyson have faired against modern day sized heavyweights?

    Very well imo.

As the great Evander Holyfield always said, there's advantages to being tall and there's advantages to being short.

Let's not say Klitschko beats Mike freaking Tyson because they can jab a fat slob like Hasim Rahman in the face until he tires and falls down.

Nobody in history got past the jab better than Tyson, his body-uppercut combination was the deadliest thing ever seen in a ring, his speed was unprecedented, awesome technique, punches from hell, quick as fu@k, fear factor through the roof.

Would he beat them all one after another? I'm not sure. But I'd bet on prime Mike vs just about anyone.

That's not how I remember it.

        Virtually anyone.

Hasim Rahman, Eddie Chambers, Thompson, "the white Tyson" Chagaev..... Endless greatness on that list.

Proves he would beat anyone in history.

Why do you say this? He wasn't even a world champ with Cus.

His best work came with Kevin Rooney.

Not to say he's not better p4p he obviously is but the 2005 onwards superheavy is like another weight class to the big heavy of the 90s
            Total myth.

The only top "big" heavyweights there's been are:

Lewis, Wlad, Vitali, Tyson Fury - AJ/Wilder still have the judge out.

Every other "big" contender/champion have been made to look silly by smaller guys.

Most guys of today who are 245+ are so because they are fat and out of shape, not because they are big - with few exceptions obviously.

Ok... and who did he beat whilst Cus was alive?

You obviously don't know what you're talking about if you think Tyson in 1985 was the best version of him.

Doesn't matter. Cus programmed Tyson's mind and prepared his body. Rooney was just Cus' puppet honestly. Tyson learned more from Cus D'Mato, you can't argue this.

Did you read what I replied to or did you just make a ******ed remark based on what you thought you read?

Rooney was a damn fine trainer, and the turmoil started when Rooney left, not when Cus died.

I at no stage now or ever denied that Cus made Tyson.

Get your head out of your ass. You clearly implied Rooney was more impactful to Tyson than Cus.

Take that horse shit and shove it up your ass.
