How would Mike Tyson have faired against modern day sized heavyweights?

Not good at all. Many people hate this realization as tyson was their childhood superman.A lot of guy would be able to control Tyson at range with jabs such as both Klitschos. I feel like it would be very hard for Tyson to get distance to land those short hooks.

Speed and technique trumps size unless the big guys happen to also be exceptional fighters.

He's looked truly awful since beating Stiverne. He can be very crude and he only relies on his huge right hand to get him out of trouble. Look at his fights against Stiverne, Moilna and Szpilka.

Wilder is not a gifted boxer.

I see no reason why Mike couldn't have got inside and ripped his body.

Vitali would have been by far his hardest fight.

Wlad is/was gifted, but there's always a chance Mike could have broken him mentally and caught him with something big. He doesn't possess his brothers chin, confidence or his will.

I haven't see enough of Fury yet, but again, I don't see how Mike couldn't have gotten inside.

I can envisage a scenario where they could all have beaten him, but certainly not easy like how you think.

Mike certainly would have had a chance.

That combination of speed, skill and ferocious aggression, along with supreme confidence and great power, was a big force.

Parker almost collapsed vs a one dimensional fighter in Takam and was eating flush punches which would have flattened him if Takam was a knockout artist. Lets not underestimate Tyson's defence along with his speed and power. Holyfield and Lewis are exceptional fighters who would dominate today's era.

Klitschko with emanuel steward beats anyone really, he will jab and every time tyson wanted to come in he would clinch and he would do that for 36 minutes

Wlad was knocked out by 3 non great fighters in his 20's, and struggled with Peter in his 30's.

"Top" HW's are definitely giants now compared to Tyson's era, who the tallest guys were 6'3" on average, emphasis on top because yes Tyson fought some tall guys but neither were all that, some were put in the ring with him to get KO'ed, some were decent. Now you got a bunch of Lennox Lewis's and Vitali's roaming around the top 5. The landscape has changed, it's just not the same as what Tyson was facing. Douglas was shorter and smaller in height than the current HW's and you saw what he did to Tyson. Also the guys that lost by decision to prime Tyson were tall 6'3-6'5 guys. Let's face it, the tall guys he KO'ed were just not good at all, they have double digits in the loss column. Wilder, Joshua, Fury, are all better fighters than those guys, and much bigger and taller with more tendencies to box rather than brawl

In my opinion, AJ is still a prospect at this stage, and Wilder hasn't impressed me at all apart from his great power. Douglas was a better fighter than Wilder. I think the jury's still out on Fury too.

Most of the "big guys" tyson beat were actually only 6'2"-6'3" 225-230

He never beat anyone 6'6" 245+ and I think he'd struggle badly tbh

Not to say he's not better p4p he obviously is but the 2005 onwards superheavy is like another weight class to the big heavy of the 90s

No, he never beat guys who were that big, but that doesn't mean he couldn't have done had the opportunity have been there.

It's not unreal. Each time he faced someone decent he struggled and lost. The fighters today are better, stronger, and smarter

He beat plenty of decent fighters who would all be top 10-15 HW's if they fought today, and as it stands, your boy Deontay has done nothing.
