Garcia isn't a hype-job like some fans believe.

Whereas Porter's only flaw was crowding his punches, Danny isn't one to do that. Garcia/Thurman would be a tight battle obviously, but to me Danny is sturdy enough against Thurman, plus more consistently accurate than anyone Thurman has faced so far. And Thurman isn't as good a boxer as Herrera. Close fight, but IMO Danny wins a UD.

That fight would be freakin HUGE if they did it June 10th, 2017. The day before the Puerto Rican Parade!!!!

Don't know why more boxers don't use dates and locations better

Like Lara, Rig. Gamboa fighting in Miami on May 20th.

Instead they go to other states. Or weird days.

MexiCANS get such a GREAT following because they fight in Vegas, Cali, or Texas. On Cinco De Mayo or Sept. 16th weekend.

That would be almost 2 years layoff for Garcia.

Not if he fight Thurman before then and maybe a mandatory. Should of done it this year a few days ago. Both have needed fights months ago. Garcia and Cotto .

I'm hoping that by the time PBC get's it's welterweight king of the hill match resolved, Terence Crawford will be ready to throw his name into the hat.

I would favor Garcia in that fight.....

DSG vs OT would be a great fight however given DSG has had much better opposition I would have to favor him. Plus next year he'll be fully adjusted to WW. I think it'll be a tough fight that DSG will pullout because he's shown he can make adjustments and OT I'm not so sure of.

Fans of today have lost all sense of time. They don't mind waiting for long periods of time. Boxing is 80% fantasy fights. Hundreds of fighters. Very few meaningful fights are made in a fan's lifetime. Don't know the difference had Lemieux vs Golovkin been marinated first. Why would one even care? Two fighters out of hundreds.

Just had deja vu. I remember hearing these exact words when everyone wanted danny vs matthysse and we know how that turned out.

They were being promoted by GBP, now they have Hymen and PBC.

It will never get made. It'll be this era's Trinidad vs Mosley

How is he not now? He just fought twice at the weight limit against 2 guys who have fought there for a while.
